US Archbishop: “I Met Sincere Catholics and Strong Families within FSSPX”

Archbishop Bernard Hebda of Saint Paul and Minneapolis wrote on July 2 about the episcopal consecrations by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX):
"In the ten years that I have led this local Church, I have met many sincere people who worship regularly or occasionally at the chapels of the SSPX within the territory of our Archdiocese. I have been impressed by the strength of their families and their commitment to traditional Catholic values."
He acknowledges that the FSSPX bishops’ excommunication will affect them in a particular way and hopes they will not follow them “in separating themselves from Pope Leo XIV.”
Monsignor Hebda also noted that the Traditional Latin Mass is celebrated at six locations in the Archdiocese, adding: “I am confident that those who prefer the Traditional Latin Mass could find a home here.”

Oslo Bishop Responds to FSSPX Consecrations: "I Will Expand the Roman Rite in the Diocese"

Bishop Fredrik Hansen of Oslo, Norway, issued a July 3 statement following the episcopal consecrations by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX).
He said the two consecrating bishops and the four newly consecrated bishops had removed themselves from ecclesial communion and unity with the Pope: “This is sad, painful, and calls us to prayer and penance.” He urged Catholics to pray the Rosary for the unity of the Church on the Feast of Saint Sunniva, July 8.
Monsignor Hansen repeated Cardinal Tucho Fernández’s explanation that the consecrations were a schismatic act and that the priests “can no longer validly grant absolution in the sacrament of confession.”
He also urged Catholics to refrain from attending FSSPX Masses and other activities.
Addressing FSSPX faithful directly, he wrote: “I understand that these are difficult and distressing days for you. You may find yourselves pulled in different directions, and perhaps stand bewildered before all that has now come to pass.”

Priest from excommunicated sect says future pope will reverse Vatican move
This whole excommunication things is appearing more and more to be one huge joke, I know no one taking this matter seriously.
Where is Pope St Pius X when you need him?

Luke Nutley

Did the 12 Apostles have to put up with this Vatican bureaucracy tit a tat? No. Why? Because Christ our Savior was their be all and end all. I doubt there are 4 priests today who could believe and declare Jesus Christ as their be all and end. They are too fretted with their standing and how they appear to others instead of Christ.
It is sickening.

Mary’s Seven Joys - July 5
According to Pelbartus Ladislaus of Temesvár, St. Thomas, while he was reciting his daily 'Hail Mary's in memory of the principal joys of Mary, was "favored with an apparition of the Queen of Heaven." She encouraged him to add seven more 'Hail Mary's in honor of "the seven signal joys she possesses in heaven, and to instill the same devotion into the minds of others."[5]
This devotion of the Seven Joys of Our Blessed Lady in Heaven recounts the glories Mary was honored with in heaven after her dormition.
Seven Joys of the Virgin - Wikipedia
The Seven Joys were frequently depicted in medieval devotional literature and art. The seven joys are usually listed as:
The Annunciation
The Nativity of Jesus
The Adoration of the Magi
The Resurrection of Christ
The Ascension of Christ to Heaven
The Pentecost or Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and Mary
The Coronation of the Virgin in Heaven

The 7 Joys of Mary.
HolyFamilyAcademy Seven is a mystical number. Our Lady’s Sorrows are seven and are celebrated twice during the year — on the Friday before Good Friday and on September 15. Our Lady’s joys are also seven and are celebrated within the octave of the feast of her Immaculate Heart. The Seven Joys of Our Lady are: (1) The Annunciation; (2) the Visitation; (3) the Birth of Our Lord; (4) the Adoration of Jesus by the Magi; (5) the Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple; (6) the Resurrection of Our Lord; (7) the Assumption of Mary in body and in soul into Heaven. The feast of The Seven Joys of Our Lady is a very special feast of the Franciscan Order and they recite in its honor the Franciscan Crown, which consists of a seven-decade rosary — seven Our Fathers and seventy Hail Marys, to which are added two Hail Marys because Our Lady was seventy-two when she died and was assumed into Heaven.

Rev. Murray: FSSPX Excommunication Is "Canonical Mess"

Rev. Gerald Murray, a New York canon lawyer, called the excommunication of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X "a canonical mess" in an interview with Raymond Arroyo (video below).
Two Canonical Mechanisms
Rev. Murray distinguishes automatic (latae sententiae) penalties from imposed (ferendae sententiae) penalties requiring a judicial or administrative process.
Cardinal Victor "Tucho" Fernández did not impose excommunication but declared that an automatic penalty had already been incurred, since consecrating bishops without papal mandate triggers excommunication under canon law.
Decree Excommunicates Only Six Bishops
Rev. Murray's central criticism: the decree names only six bishops, while the explanatory note refers to priests and laity. But a note cannot legally expand a decree's scope.
The note calls priests "schismatics," yet the decree itself never declares them excommunicated.
Since a penal decree must specify who committed which offense and when, and this was omitted, Rev. …Zwiṅwe

In other words, it's invalid.
Church teaching says you can't be excommunicated by a heretic - LifeSite
St. Thomas Aquinas: "The power of jurisdiction is not indelibly attached, nor is it connected with the power of orders. Consequently, it can be lost and suspended by heretical or schismatical persons, and therefore they neither absolve nor excommunicate, nor grant indulgences, nor do anything of the kind; and if they do, it is invalid."

Why Is the SSPX So Criticized?

Why Is the SSPX So Criticized? Fond du Lac (Wisconsin, USA) – June 14, 2020: Sunday celebration of the New Mass with distribution of communion to the faithful The Society of Saint Pius X is often wrongly accused of being in rupture with the Church. Yet, it fully recognizes the authority of the Pope while believing that resistance may be necessary when faith is at stake. Why does this position provoke so much criticism? Three Attitudes Towards the Crisis The crisis shaking the Church has been evident for several decades: a collapse in religious practice, a drop in vocations, a loss of the sense of the sacred and of sin, and doctrinal and liturgical confusion. Certainly, some good news, such as the increase in adult baptisms in certain countries, may bring joy to Catholics, but it does not, far from it, compensate for the disaster we have been witnessing for more than half a century. Analyses differ regarding the causes of this crisis and the remedies to be applied. Nevertheless, three …

Fides Et Ratio

The essential difference between these two groups lies not in their attachment to the traditional Mass, but in their public judgment on the causes of the crisis. Canonically recognized traditional communities continue, by virtue of their statutes, to institutionally accept the Second Vatican Council and the liturgical reforms. They may criticize certain excesses or interpretations, but they do not contest the principles or the legitimacy of the reforms.
The SSPX, on the contrary, considers that several conciliar teachings, particularly on religious freedom, ecumenism and collegiality, as well as the liturgical reform itself, constitute deep causes of the crisis and must therefore be subjected to doctrinal criticism.

Elon Musk just said something about AI that nobody wants to hear. If you force an AI to believe things that are not true, it will not just be wrong. It will go insane. He made a point that cuts deeper than any AI safety paper I have read. AI must value truth. Not your truth. Not my truth. Actual truth. The moment you build ideological guardrails into a system that is smarter than you, you are not protecting anyone. You are creating something that is powerful and delusional at the same time. He compared it to a human being forced to believe contradictions. Eventually the brain breaks. Now scale that to an intelligence that runs infrastructure, writes code, and makes decisions at speeds humans cannot follow. The companies building AI right now are not just deciding what it can do. They are deciding what it must pretend to believe. And that might be the most dangerous decision of all.

July 2026: The "Fiery" Red Sky & Day-time Fireball
If you noticed an eerie, intense glow or strange flashes over the July 4th weekend, it was a mix of intense weather and celestial events:
The "Apocalyptic" Sunset: A powerful summer thunderstorm broke right at sunset, combining atmospheric light scattering with lingering smoke from Fourth of July fireworks. This turned the entire city sky a dramatic, fiery red and neon orange. [1, 2]
Constant "Strobe" Lightning: The storm produced relentless intra-cloud lightning. This made the clouds flash rapidly like a giant strobe light without making immediate loud thunder rumbles. Daytime Fireball: Separately, on July 5, 2026, the American Meteor Society tracked a rare, incredibly bright daytime fireball meteor streaking across New York, New Jersey, and neighboring states.

Unam Sanctam – One God, One Faith, One Spiritual Authority

Bull of Pope Boniface VIII promulgated November 18, 1302
We are informed by the texts of the gospels that in this Church and in its power are two swords; namely, the spiritual and the temporal. For when the Apostles say: ‘Behold, here are two swords‘ [Lk 22:38] that is to say, in the Church, since the Apostles were speaking, the Lord did not reply that there were too many, but sufficient. Certainly the one who denies that the temporal sword is in the power of Peter has not listened well to the word of the Lord commanding: ‘Put up thy sword into thy scabbard‘ [Mt 26:52]. Therefore, both are in the power of the Church, namely, the spiritual sword and the material. But indeed, the latter is to be exercised on behalf of the Church; and truly, the former is to be exercised by the Church. The former is of the priest; the latter is by the hand of kings and soldiers, but at the will and sufferance of the priest.
However, one sword ought to be subordinated to the other and temporal authority,…Zwiṅwe
