Every morning, the little Ant arrived at work early and got right to it. She was productive, organized, and genuinely happy with her job.
Her boss, the Lion, noticed something unusual: the Ant was doing excellent work without anyone supervising her.
“If she can produce this much on her own,” the Lion thought, “imagine how much more she could produce with proper management.”
So he hired a Cockroach, who had years of experience in supervision and was known for creating outstanding reports.
The Cockroach’s first decision was to introduce a time-tracking system for the Ant. Then she realized she needed an assistant to help prepare all the reports, so she hired a Spider to manage the files, monitor calls, and organize the documentation.
The Lion was delighted with the Cockroach’s reports. He asked for production charts, trend analysis, performance dashboards, and weekly summaries to present at leadership meetings created specifically to discuss the Ant’s productivity.
