“There is no place for rainbow flags in the Church!”
Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller denounces LGBT+ and woke ideology as fundamentally atheistic.
Speaking with Jan Bentz in an interview published on October 21, Cardinal Müller rejects ideological symbols in churches, referencing Nazi swastikas and Soviet red banners: “Our flag is the Cross of Jesus Christ, the only Savior of the world,” the cardinal declares.

Cardinal Müller Rejects Rainbow Flags in Churches, Invokes Nazi and Soviet Symbols.
Müller rejects LGBT and what he calls “woke ideology,” describing them as fundamentally atheistic. He then says there is no place for rainbow flags in the Church, juxtaposing such symbols with the Nazi swastika and Soviet red banner.

The Summorum Pontificum pilgrimage has been kicked out of its conference venue for next year.
The Augustinianum, a conference venue run by the Augustinian order near St. Peter’s Basilica, will reportedly no longer be available to the Summorum Pontificum pilgrimage from 2027. Luigi Casalini of MessaInLatino.it revealed this in an interview with @Fede & Cultura, citing information from the pilgrimage’s main organizer.
Vatican pressure on Italian police?
Casalini also said he had been told that the Vatican contacted Italian police to ask whether the procession had all the necessary permits and authorizations.

‘ZERO MARKS’ – Why the Conciliar/Synodal Church is not the Catholic Church
A Summary

‘Radically insufficient’ – Reply to Fr Crean on the Church’s visibility
‘Zero Marks’ – Why the Conciliar/Synodal Church is not the Catholic Church
‘Spotless and Unsullied’ – Indefectibility and the Extended Vacancy
Introduction

“All this leads a great number of people to ask themselves if the Church of today is really the same as that of yesterday, or if they have changed it for something else without telling people.”
Cardinal Ratzinger, 13 July 1988
Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger – later Benedict XVI — posed this question in the aftermath of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre’s 1988 episcopal consecrations for the Society of St Pius X.
In this conference, delivered to the bishops of Chile, Ratzinger argued that what Lefebvre had called the “Conciliar Church” was indeed the same Catholic Church which had preceded Vatican II.
In fact, the term “Conciliar Church” was Paul VI himself, and he …Okuningi

Bishop Marian Eleganti: “The Vatican Cuts a Poor Figure”.
Retired Swiss Bishop Marian Eleganti condemns the exclusion of Catholics from St. Peter’s Basilica on October 24: “This year’s ban on access to St. Peter’s Basilica for the tradition-minded pilgrims of ‘Ad Petri Sedem’ borders on hostility toward Catholics who are loyal to the Pope and orthodox in their faith. It has nothing to do with concern for unity in the Church or with operational difficulties in organizing liturgical celebrations in St. Peter’s Basilica.”
“Synodal hypocrisy (inclusivity) has thereby revealed itself for what it is.”
Bishop Eleganti notes that the “Ad Petri Sedem” pilgrims are not the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX): “We have known it for a long time: Certain people are inclusive only as long as it serves their own goals. They ruthlessly and cold-bloodedly exclude different ways of thinking and different approaches to pastoral care and spirituality. This has been my consistent experience.”

Cardinal Burke denies the pre-conclave dinners.
Cardinal Raymond Burke had denied hosting the dinners at his Roman apartment that allegedly helped secure Leo XIV’s election, writes Phil Lawler on CatholicCulture.org on October 29.
The sensational story of the dinner parties at Cardinal Burke’s Rome apartment was published by the homosexual journalist Francesco Capozza on IlTempo.it in August. It is circulating again because RorateCaeli.blogspot.com translated the article on October 25. Capozza does not identify a single source, relying instead on anonymous accounts attributed to participants and an unnamed cardinal. The article suggests that two dinners at Cardinal Burke’s apartment helped secure 20–25 votes for Cardinal Prevost.
Lawler does not cite a source for the denial either. Multiple sources had said that Cardinal Raymond Burke denied hosting the meetings, “Cardinal Burke says that no such parties took place - at least not to his knowledge, and certainly not in his apartment.” …Okuningi

A historic verdict in Poland. For the first time, a Catholic bishop has been convicted for failing to report clerical homosexual abuse. Bishop Andrzej Jeż has announced that he will appeal the verdict.
Today, October 29, a court in Tarnów convicted Bishop Jeż, 63, of failing to promptly report allegations of child homosexual abuse involving two priests in his diocese. It is the first conviction of a serving Catholic bishop in Poland for such an offense.
The court sentenced Bishop Jeż to two years of restricted liberty, requiring him to surrender 25% of his monthly salary to a foundation supporting abused children. He must also pay 20,000 złoty into a victims' assistance fund.
The case concerns allegations against two priests, Stanisław P. and Tomasz K. One priest was implicated in the abuse of at least 95 boys between 1987 and 2008. Church authorities had investigated allegations against Stanisław P. in the 2000s and dismissed him from the clergy in 2013.
In July 2017, Poland introduced …Okuningi

Bishop Barron rebukes Cardinal Vesco.
In an October 28 post on X.com, 💪 Bishop Robert Barron of Winona-Rochester, Minnesota, attacked the Archbishop Jean-Paul Vesco of Algiers. He had claimed that “the Church is not there to convert” and that Christians should approach other religions “through fraternity rather than seeking conversions.”
“Excuse me, but…what?” Barron responded.
Citing Christ’s command to “make disciples of all nations,” the American bishop added: “Sure sounds like conversion to me.”
Bishop Barron then invoked St. Paul, who preached in Corinth, Athens and Thessalonica. His purpose, Barron argued, “was not to listen or to form a discussion group but rather to declare an unnerving message”: that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead.
He also criticized what he sees as a wider problem within the Church hierarchy, opening his post with the remark: “Well, another Cardinal has come out with a, shall we say, puzzling take on evangelization.”
Monsignor Barron stressed that abandoning …Okuningi

Arkansas has been named the most pro-life state in the nation for the seventh year in a row, according to Americans United for Life’s annual Life List. The ranking was announced Wednesday with Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Americans United for Life scores all 50 states on their protections for life in law across bioethical issues from conception to natural death, not solely abortion. Louisiana ranked second. “I’m incredibly proud that Arkansas is ranked the most pro-life state in the nation for the seventh year in a row,” Gov. Sanders said. “Every life is a gift from our Creator, made in His image, and is worth defending. As Governor, I will continue fighting for every Arkansan, at every stage of life, and make our state the best place to live, work, and raise a family.” John Mize, CEO of Americans United for Life, said the ranking reflects sustained partnership and leadership.
