Leo XIV’s emphasis on peace and fraternity amounts to “100% Masonic ideology.” Paweł Lisicki, editor-in-chief of the Polish weekly Do Rzeczy, challenges in a October 2 video the claim that Leo XIV’s visit to France signals a Christian revival in Europe. Leo XIV referred to Europe’s Christian roots, but Lisicki argues that the Pope presents Christianity primarily as a source of modern ideals such as human dignity, peace and fraternity, rather than as a call for Europe to return to Catholicism. Lisicki sees this as a profound reversal of Catholic priorities, placing man rather than God, divine truth and salvation at the center. “The glory of man, the dignity of man, has replaced the glory of God,” Lisicki notes, describing recent pontificates as increasingly oriented toward the “false idol” of human dignity. For Lisicki, Leo XIV’s emphasis on interreligious coexistence and on religions serving peace and fraternity represents a secularized redefinition of Christianity—one he describes as …ተጨማሪ

Bishop Schneider: Christ’s enemies have carried out “a hostile takeover” of the Church. At the Catholic Identity Conference in Pittsburgh on October 4, Bishop Athanasius Schneider delivered a diagnosis of the crisis in the Church, describing it as a “hostile takeover” from within. “We are witnesses of an unprecedented crisis of the Church,” Schneider said, pointing to “poisonous doctrinal ambiguities” and even “brazen heresies in the ranks of the high clergy”. “The world Christ warned of seems to have occupied the Church’s strategic administrative positions. There took place a hostile takeover.” Schneider said the crisis now affects virtually every aspect of Church life: “doctrine, morals, liturgy, discipline.” He also spoke of the “marginalization and a true persecution” within the Church of “all what is true Catholic.”
Bishop Schneider at CIC conference: A hostile takover of the Church took place.
If Bishop Schneider is just now figuring this out no wonder our Church is in serious trouble. His statement suggests that he only recently picked up one of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre’s books on the hijacking of Vatican II, SMH

In 1779 the Governor of Spanish colonial Louisiana signed a document that emancipated Agnes Mathieu from slavery. What was so special about Agnes that a Governor had to sign off on her release? Most freedom papers from the time bear only the signature of the former slaveholder notarized by a local clerk. But Governor Bernardo de Gálvez had a special interest in this case. History Detectives heads to Louisiana to trace an epic tale of politics, war, love and loyalty. In the French Quarter, at Tulane University, and on the shelves of a local archive we discovers Governor Galvez’s pivotal role in America’s fight for freedom – both in the Revolutionary War and in a romantic story of our contributor’s past. Oct. 4, 2026, 5:02 a.m. ET When President Trump decided in his first term to host the annual Group of 7 summit of world leaders at his own private golf club in Miami, the act of self-dealing was so astonishing that it incited an uproar among fellow Republicans, forcing him to scrap the idea. US Bishop attends smudging ceremony. On July 11, the Diocese of Raleigh hosted its first multicultural celebration honoring St. Kateri Tekakwitha - the first North American Indigenous saint - at Holy Cross Church. The gathering included discussions, music, and indigenous dances. Richard Duran, a member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe from Arizona, led a smudging ceremony, which the diocese described as sharing cleansing smoke “as an act of prayer and spiritual connection.” Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama was present and drew laughter when he said he would dance with his heart, not his body, because dancing to music can frustrate him. Smudging has nothing to do with St. Kateri. She left her indigenous community and moved to the Christian Mohawk community at Kahnawake, where she could freely live her Catholic faith.
The bishop of Raleigh, North Carolina participated over a shamanistic “smudging” ceremony to celebrate St. Catherine “Kateri” Tekakwitha, who rejected her native Mohawk religion. Pascua Taqui tribe member Richard Duran led the congregation of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Durham in a “smudging” ceremony in July. Smudging is a shamanic ritual that involves burning herbs and resins to “cleanse” a space of negative energy.

At the time of Mary’s birth I saw a great and joyful agitation in nature, in the animal world, in the hearts of all good men, and I heard the sound of sweet singing. Sinners, however, were overwhelmed by fear and sorrow. I saw, specially near Nazareth, but also in the rest of the Promised Land, many who were possessed break out at that time into violent ravings. They were hurled from side to side with loud cries, and the devils shrieked from within them, ‘We must surrender, we must go out!’ In Jerusalem I saw how the aged priest Simeon, who lived in the Temple, was startled at the moment of Mary’s birth by loud shrieks coming from …ተጨማሪ
