Humanly speaking, Bishop Schneider doesn't see Leo XIV reversing Francis' course. The celebration of the Pontifical Mass at the end of October in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore - instead of St. Peter’s Basilica - can be described as a “consolation prize,” Bishop Athanasius Schneider told Gloria.tv (video below). It is “sad,” he said, that these Catholics are not allowed to celebrate Mass in St. Peter’s. At the same time, Santa Maria Maggiore is the most important Marian church in Christendom. Both Pius V - who codified the traditional Mass for all time - and Francis - who restricted it - are buried there. Bishop Schneider intends to pray with the faithful for liturgical peace and for the traditional Mass to be celebrated again without restrictions. Asked whether Leo XIV might reverse Francis’ course, Schneider replied: “Humanly speaking, I don’t think so. But there is still God.” The pilgrimage will pray for Leo XIV, asking God to grant him many graces. Schneider calls the suppression …Higit pa
Only on liturgy/SSPX? Nothing on perversion of Church Teaching? Continuation of Bergoglio’s heresies? Destruction of souls? Synodal destruction of the Church? Is that not importantanymore or is this quiet censorship?
We are not masters, but “CEOs.” Of our lives Liturgy for October 4th – 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Dear brothers and sisters, the passage from the Gospel of Matthew we're going to listen to next Sunday, October 4th, reminds us that we are not masters of life, but a sort of “CEO”—so to speak—of this extraordinary gift God has entrusted to us. God entrusts us with wonderful gifts of nature and grace so that we may make them bear fruit for His glory and for the salvation of our brothers and sisters. If we misuse them, that is: doing evil, or squander them , our future faces the risk of “Eternal doom”, Dear brothers and sisters, the Word of God invites us not to waste time with those who work and build upon the “sand” of their “boundless ego,” but rather to work tirelessly alongside with all our brothers and sisters who wish to build their lives upon the “Rock” that is Christ.
Three of twelve NGOs against a Spanish government proposal to accelerate returns from Ceuta to Morocco have historical or institutional links to the Jesuits, reports InfoVaticana.com. - The Jesuit Migrant Service is part of the Jesuits’ social network. - Entreculturas was promoted by the order and is chaired by Enric Puiggròs, the Jesuit provincial in Spain. - Oxfam Intermón originated in 1956 as a Jesuit missionary organization. The proposed decree followed the large-scale arrival of migrants in Ceuta on July 30 and 31. The twelve NGOs opposed provisions that would impose a seven-day deadline for certain asylum applications, reduce the appeal period to five days and, in certain cases, remove the right to remain in Spain while proceedings were pending. The government later placed the proposal under legal review amid questions about its compatibility with constitutional and international law. #newsMigcosbltj

Born: May 15, 1850 Died: Oct 2, 1912 Beatified : Dec 21, 1992 Jan Beyzym, known in Madagascar as the Servant of Lepers, was a true pioneer in caring for lepers during the time when leprosy was incurable and those afflicted with leprosy were banished from society. He was born in the family estate in Poland’s Volinia region and was the eldest of five children. He received his early education at home but when the family lost its estates in the 1863 uprising and were forced to separate, Jan’s mother took the children to live with her sister in the Podole region while Jan’s father crossed into Austrian held Galicia in order to flee from the Cossacks who were pursuing him. Jan decided to become a diocesan priest after completing his secondary studies but while visiting his father whom he had not seen for eight years, his father suggested that he consider the Jesuits instead. So on December 19, 1872, father and son traveled to the Jesuit novitiate at Stara …Higit pa
Non-stop applause for Leo XIV. Vatican Media published this picture from Leo XIV’s audience with representatives of Gruppo Hera on October 1. It shows members of the delegation standing and applauding the Pope. Every day, Leo XIV receives such standing ovations in the Vatican. His speech called for stronger environmental responsibility, warning against the “uncontrolled consumption of resources” and the growing problem of managing and disposing of “enormous quantities of waste.” #newsJqizykucsc
Please, is there any real video recording of those 4 minutes long applause to him? Try to find it, because that would be revealing — what exactly uberhyperpapolatry means! Which, btw., does not have to mean that it necessarily has to do with the real papacy. Which actually if it had, it wouldn't be called - UBERHYPERPAPOLATRY!

Former Italian priest Luca Favarin, 54, has become a father. After 25 years as a priest in the Diocese of Padua, Favarin welcomed his son Zaccaria on September 28. “If necessary, I will have the courage to die for you, because I have seen the most beautiful thing: the birth of a child,” he wrote on facebook. Favarin became known for his work with illegal immigrants, prisoners and people on the margins, as well as his commitment to homosexual privileges. He also denied Catholic teaching on assisted dying. After conflicts with his diocese and suspension, he left the clerical state in 2023. In August, Corriere.it asked Favarin about marriage and he replied: “It’s not a priority at the moment.” The mother of his child is described as his partner, a woman he met through social-sector work. #newsVepspjixwq
Leo XIV Appoints Bishop Who Celebrates Jewish Passover with Seminarians. Pope Leo XIV today appointed Bishop Ramón Salazar Estrada, 63, until now auxiliary bishop of Guadalajara, as the new Bishop of Mazatlán, Mexico. Salazar was ordained a priest in 1993 for the Archdiocese of Guadalajara. He holds a doctorate in moral theology from the Alphonsian Academy in Rome. Allegations of Homosexual activity at the seminary In the Archdiocese of Guadalajara there is an anonymous church watchblog, GdlSantaIPecadora.blogspot.com. According to this source the seminary was suffering in 2012 from “delicate cases of homosexuality”, alongside alcoholism. In May 2014 the blog alleged an internal network of seminarians arranging homosexual encounters by phone, connections with priests outside the seminary, and protection or tolerance by some formators. It also claimed that at least seven seminarians had been dismissed after accusations concerning homosexuality. Salazar was already closely involved in …Higit pa
Tuesday, 30th September 1913: Commission Asks Why Jail Is Overcrowded, The Atlanta Journal The Atlanta Journal, Tuesday, 30th September 1913, PAGE 1, COLUMN 1. Solicitor Replies That 130 Cases Hang Fire for Lack of Judge and Court The board of county commissioners has officially called the attention of the solicitor general to the unusually crowded condition of the Fulton County jail, and has asked the reason for the delay in the disposition of felony cases. This is the first time that the county commission has taken official cognizance of congested jail conditions and it is causing considerable comment. The solicitor general has replied to the board's letter, stating that he is ready to take up the trial of jail prisoners whenever he can secure a judge and a court room, which will probably not be before October 13, when Judge Ben H. Hill takes up his duties as judge of the superior court of this circuit. There are said to be 130 felony prisoners in the Fulton county Tower at present, …Higit pa
